In my artwork, I focus on drawing animals, as well as people and environments.  Using these subjects, I use my artwork as a tool to analyze relationships, whether with others or intrapersonal.  I want to explore the inherent oddity of mundane, every-day events and situations. Within the familiarity of my subjects, I aim to convey feelings of nostalgia and romanticization: making the viewer feel a connection with a time and place that will never exist.
