Lauryn Wells is an Illustration major with a graphic design degree and studio sensibilities. Art is making problems, and art is solving them. Lauryn knows there’s something innate in humanity that draws us to art. And in today’s modern era, the need to monetize morphs art into media. Media makes us – the content we consume becomes the language we learn. We regurgitate the message into our art, and the cycle continues.

“Art Against Artists / Against / Art Against the Arts” breaks the formalities of musing, opting instead to harvest the rawest form of pure unadulterated content and force it into the easy reading of a magazine. When everything has already been said, why say anything new at all? Surely the solution to a lack of individualism is subscribing both philosophically and financially to another avenue of influence!
