Parker is an interdisciplinary artist who intertwines her design skills with her passion for functional pottery. She is set to graduate with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design, accompanied by a certificate in Ceramics. Her mission is to bring wonder and joy to everyday objects, enhancing the daily experiences of those whose hands they end up serving. Central to Parker's work is the fusion of art and functionality, where each piece serves a practical purpose while maintaining artistic integrity. Her work draws inspiration from themes of the dark and macabre, Gothic aesthetics, and relations to Art Deco, along with flowing, “drippy” forms that evoke movement and fluidity. Through her work, Parker seeks to elevate the mundane, making functional objects both visually captivating and emotionally resonant.
