Maggie Regina is a multimedia designer graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design and a certificate in Ceramics. As a graphic designer, Maggie bends the traditional ideas of what is and isn’t graphic design, merging branding, print and digital media with more traditional art practices (using both the creativity of traditional art and strategic problem solving of graphic design). A lot of her inspiration comes from simply living life. Finding inspiration in lived experiences, emotions, music, nature, fashion, books, and events occurring in the world. The diverse range of inspirations also influences the wide range of mediums and styles she works with.

Hug in a Mug revolves around the idea of the comfort and warmth cafes provide as a place to recharge, unwind, or celebrate big (or small) accomplishments. By displaying these designs in a mock cafe, the aim is to bring the brand to life and engage viewers in a relatable, tangible way. The designs will evoke a sense of familiarity and comfort, the goal: to show how thoughtful branding can transform a simple setting into something meaningful and memorable, something that feels like a warm hug in a mug.
