Erica Knoll is an artist graduating with a B.F.A. in graphic design and a certification in motion graphics. Erica had recently found a love for reading and wanted to create something for all readers to enjoy. Page Swap is a UX/UI app about accessibility and community, integrating a marketplace for buying and selling books. Erica aims to create a sustainable cycle where stories continue to find new homes. The addition of virtual book clubs transforms solitary reading into a shared experience, encouraging thoughtful discussions and deeper engagement with literature. As an artist and creator, Erica sees this app as a bridge between the tangible and the digital, preserving the intimacy of books while leveraging technology to expand their reach. It is a space where stories are not just consumed but shared, valued, and given new life. For the final arrangement, Erica pairs the UX/UI prototype with a motion graphic animation to show the functionality as well as the interface of the app.
