As a poet, an artist, and a designer, Aanihya Beckwith is a soon to be graduating Senior at Webster University with her BFA Degree in Graphic Design. Aanihya has always been infatuated with the art of creating a deep understanding and connection between her and her audience. Since the age of eight years old, she has been into the arts of illustration to create designs that have a strong sense of meaning to them, leaving the end result up to the viewer to interpret. Along with that, in many of her works, through illustration, 3D work, or design in general, she composes vibrancy, love, and empathy.

Unseen Beauty is a body of work that consists of being a viewer from the outside in of a loved one who may not see the beauty in themselves that you do. As you look at the delicate paper Swans, they create a fragile environment that the people we love around us may create because they have a difficult time finding the beauty that we see. “If only you could see the beauty I see in you.” Is a phrase that we find ourselves thinking when we find ourselves on the outside, because we can never truly heal them on the inside. Unless they do it themselves.
