BFA Graphic Design

In my work I use typography to express values and tone of voice visually. I do this to help emphasize and communicate a meaning or an underlying message. In graphic design, this is often communicated by a brand or a visual system.

More recently, I have been focusing on learning to create typography of my own. Pulling in another element of design into my control allows me the opportunity for more creative freedom and a better understanding of the way our platforms work and read together.

I enjoy Graphic Design because of the vast platforms it covers and the technical control a computer offers me that I cannot always get with my own hand. My work is easily replicated, shareable, and edited. I can create multiple versions within minutes and make quick decisions that can always be undone. However, the most exciting part, is that there is something new to try every day.
