BA Studio Art; BA Education Studies

For years I have been working on a double major. My degree programs a BA in Art and a BA in Educational Studies. Using what I have learned during both programs I had learned to develop my skills and how to explain details to others. This helps me develop work I can feel proud of and explain details in interesting ways. My work that I create is inspired by myself, the things around me, and the things that I love. I have been creating art throughout my life, so this has given me a chance to explore these things in a variety of ways. This includes things such as fan art for games and shows I enjoy, portraits of family & friends, and abstract pieces inspired by points in my life. I have explored these three things through a variety of different mediums and techniques to create various pieces. These different mediums include pencil, graphite, charcoal, paint, marker and digital, which is just what I have done with 2D.

Despite not being 100% certain on where I will be in the future, I know by using what I have learned I can create something for myself in the future. I would love to teach others what I have learned in a setting eventually but not in a standard k-12 setting. This would be because I had spent some time in that setting previously and would like to explore other educational settings. But I know for my future I would love to explore some of the dark themes and storytelling methods I had worked with throughout my time in college. So, I know at least that after I graduate, I will seek to further these skills even further.
